This training will provide support for facilitators to be able to deliver the Love Bites Senior Program, a primary prevention education program focused on the development of respectful relationships and violence prevention for 15-17-year-old’s (or Years 10-12). The training role models a trauma aware delivery model of the program.
Love Bites Junior is a primary prevention education program that focuses on the development of respectful relationships for 11-14-year old’s. Covering topics like consent, boundaries, bullying and how to be an upstander. Please note that there are pre-requisites for some of this training.
The Love Bites Program has had an update in mid-March 2022. We are now offering a refresher for facilitators who would like to receive the updated manual and resources (provided electronically). Please note that there are pre-requisites for some of this training.
A 2-hour update delivered over zoom to gain an overview of the changes and new activities in the new 2022 release of the Love Bites Senior (Year 10-12) program, including a Q&A at the end.
Note: This session is only suitable for people who remember / or are familiar with the content and activities from their recent training. This session does not remove the need for a refresher, or replace the refresher. It does not cover the activities that have not undergone any significant change nor allow time for general questions regarding the Love Bites program.
